Excalibur Downwind Foil Board

King's Paddle Sports is excited to show you our highly sought after Excalibur Downwind hydrofoil board. The Excalibur glides through the water like a prone or standup paddle racing board. This allows you to catch tiny swells, wakes and bumps. And, when wing foiling, this allows you to lift off the water when the wind is barely blowing.

The Excalibur is a multipurpose hydrofoil board that excels in the following areas:

• Wing foiling in flat water and downwind.
• Downwind foiling either prone or stand up paddle or wing.
• Dock start and flat water pump foiling. 
• Surf and wave foiling.

The Excalibur has a gently rounded bottom in the first 24" of the bottom. Then, the bottom blends into a full flat from rail to rail. This produces great glide for bump catching and great water release for speed.

The side rails are close to vertical having very little chime. This creates a fairly wide foot print at the waterline. The wider footprint produces good stability; considering the narrow widths of these boards.

The deck has a concave cockpit in the standing area. The concave cockpit greatly improves stability by lowering your center of gravity. The cockpit drains any accumulated water out the tail. 

The Excalibur has a vee-deck on the front deck. This parts and sheds the water. This unique feature prevents the nose from pearling like most other brands are known to do. 

The Excalibur is constructed using 1 lb. EPS and PVC foam with a vacuum bagged carbon fiber skin. The tracks for mounting the hydrofoil are 15" long. The tracks are secured to four stringers. The Excalibur is super light yet very strong.
