The SS Board Design:

• The deck has a flat standing area for a wide comfortable stance while paddling.
• The bottom has a full length vee bottom that is deepest in the nose and tail with a deep nose concave that breaks into dual concaves running off the end of the tail. This gives you great glide, stability, high paddling speeds, fantastic nose riding, and unbelievably fast turning on waves.
• The rails are very thin for penetrating the face of a wave. This allows you to carve waves on the rails.

• SS 9' 4" long, 29" wide, 3.75" thick, 120 liters of volume, 18 lbs. approximate board weight, 180 lbs. maximum paddler body weight.
• SS 9' 6" long, 29" wide, 4.00" thick, 125 liters of volume, 18 lbs. approximate board weight, 185 lbs. maximum paddler body weight.
• SS 10' 0" long, 30" wide, 4.25" thick, 145 liters of volume, 20 lbs. approximate board weight, 200 lbs. maximum paddler body weight.
• SS 10' 6" long, 31" wide, 4.50" thick, 170 liters of volume, 25 lbs. approximate board weight, 220 lbs. maximum paddler body weight.
• SS 11' 0" long, 32" wide, 4.75" thick, 185 liters of volume, 28 lbs. approximate board weight, 240 lbs. maximum paddler body weight.
• SS 11' 6" long, 32" wide, 5.00" thick, 200 liters of volume, 30 lbs. approximate board weight, 260 lbs. maximum paddler body weight.

Construction:
The SS boards are built right here in the USA. We use ultra light Expanded Poly Styrene (EPS) foam core material wrapped in premium grade fiberglass and epoxy resin. Optionally, you can order the Salsa boards with unidirectional carbon strips around the rails or full vacuum bagged carbon fiber. The Knight boards are light weight with performance being the first priority. The boards come standard with a 10" center box and two side boxes.
